Mentor Teachers are a part of the Professional Network in place for the Teacher Intern. P What is the program: Through the MENTOR Program at EPISD, new teachers receive professional guidance and support from a mentor teacher assigned to them during their first year with the District. The Mentor Program was first piloted at four schools in 2003, and it is now on its second year of implementation at every campus in the District.
