In addition, Employee Relations administers memoranda of Understanding and provides advice to County management on contract interpretation, consults with union representatives as necessary on matters affecting wages, hours, and working conditions of represented employees and represents the County in ERCOM in arbitrations, unfair employee relations practices, impasses, mediation, fact-finding THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES NON-REPRESENTED EMPLOYEES' DEPENDENT CARE REIMBURSEMENT PLAN Chapter 5.30. COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES HEALTH CARE REIMBURSEMENT PLAN Chapter 5.31. HEALTH, SAFETY PROGRAM AND WORKERS' COMPENSATION Chapter 5.32. LIABILITY INSURANCE Chapter 5.33. THE CHOICES PLAN Chapter 5.34. CHOICES DEPENDENT CARE REIMBURSEMENT PLAN Applies provisions of the Los Angeles County Code, the Payroll Manual, the Interpretive Manual, and applicable Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) in processing the payroll. Explains payroll policies and procedures to employees. Reviews CWTAPPS exception reports, and makes corrections as required. May perform limited manual calculations as necessary. The ordinance codified in this chapter shall be known as the "employee relations ordinance of the county of Los Angeles." (Ord. 9646 § 1, 1968) Predominantly intellectual and varied in character as opposed to routine mental, manual, mechanical, or physical work, b. Involving the consistent exercise of discretion and judgment in its Applies provisions of the Los Angeles County Code, the Payroll Manual, the Interpretive Manual, and applicable Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) in processing the payroll. Working knowledge of the Los Angeles County Code, Civil Service Rules, Interpretive Manual for County Pay and Benefit provisions, and other applicable human resources policies. Experience in utilizing segments of eHR related to personnel processing (e.g., ESMT) and the electronic Personnel Action Request.
