It takes me 30 seconds to disassemble my MkIII 22/45 and about 5 min or less to reassemble. You must, must, must follow the manual exactly (including the barrel up, barrel down, magazine in The manual is specific and when it says 22/45 do this then do it. It's really a good gun, but you have to be specific with the reassembly steps. Mostly it's a matter of getting the hammer in the proper location during the reassembly process. Once you get it down, you'll love it. These pistols are often ignored due to their infamously difficult reassembly.
