DIGITAL E LECTRO NICS LAB 7486(EX- OR) 7432(OR) PROCEDURE: (a) Fix the IC's on b readboard & give the s upply. (b) Con nect the +ve terminal of supply to pin 14 & -ve to pin 7. (c) Give input at pin 1, 2 & tak e output fro m pin 3. It i s same for all e xcept NOT & NOR IC. (d) For NOR, pin 1 is output & pin 2&3 are inputs. LAB MANUAL EC65EC6512 112212- --- COMMUNICATION SYSTEMSCOMMUNICATION SYSTEMSCOMMUNICATION SYSTEMS LABORATORYLABORATORY Connect the mains cord of the trainer unit to AC 220V, 50 Hz supply. 5.Connect the amplifier output to inverting amplifier input. 6.Observe the demodulated output waveform across sockets marked 'DEMOD OUTPUT'. EC This Lab imparts training on various electrical components and circuit making. Student understand the theoretical concepts by verifying through experiments, learn measurement techniques of electrical parameters by doing himself. This Lab is equipped to impart training on AC 3-phase concepts and electro-mechanical machines. Title of the course : Analog and Digital Electronics Lab 1. Do's and Don'ts in the laboratory 2. Lab Experiments: To understand the practicability of Analog and Digital Electronics, the list of experiments is given below to be performed (at least 10) in the laboratory. 1. Verification of the truth tables of TTL gates. 2. Verify the NAND and phase AC Voltage Controller using RL loads. 12 4 Plotting of Bode plots, Root Locus and Nyquist plots for the transfer functions of systems up to 5th order. 23 5 Power System load flow using Newton-Raphson Technique. 28 6 Modeling of Transformer and simulation of lossy transmission line 34 7 Integrator and Differentiator circuits using OP-AMP. 38 8 BASIC ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING LAB MANUAL Procedure 1. Measure and record twenty resistors with value of 1 Kohm. 2. Find the R max. , R min. then calculate the percentage error. 3. Repeat the steps (1,2) with resistor value of 10K ohm. 4. Repeat the steps (1,2) with resistor value of 100K ohm. Observation 1. Comment for your results. 4. They should read the procedure thoroughly for the lab experiment from the manual and come well prepared. 5. They should bring the required things like scientific calculator, eraser, pencil, pen etc to every lab class. Borrowing things is not allowed. 6. They should not go to others table leaving their place without taking The resistance across the variable pot R1 is to be measured using multi meter disconnecting terminal across it. PROCEDURE: 1. Connections are made as per the circuit diagram. 2. Switch ON the trainer and check the power supply to be +15V. 3. Connect the unknown resistor in the arm marked Rx. 4.
